Terms & Conditions
Bookings are accepted subject to these terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Bookings
- Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park only accommodates adults. Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted to enter the park either as a guest or visitor.
- A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required with each booking, the balance to be paid on the day of arrival. Acceptance of your booking forms a contract under which you have agreed to pay the total fee due.
- Bookings over Bank holidays and Easter are subject to minimum booking periods of 3 and 4 nights respectively.
- Our current Tariff is displayed on our website and is based on a per night stay.
- All payments are inclusive or VAT. If the VAT rate changes, we reserve the right to charge you accordingly.
- All payments are non-refundable in any circumstances unless we cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
- All payments are NOT transferable to a third party.
- PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN THE EVENT THAT YOU HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE THEN YOU ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS THAT YOU MAY INCURE DUE TO YOUR CANCELLATION.
- If you must cut your stay short for any reason, you will not be entitled to any refunds.
- All major credit and debit cards are accepted, and we do not charge card transaction fees
- The park owners cannot be held responsible or liable for loss, damage or injury to property or persons on the park, howsoever caused. Guests are advised to check that their insurances cover all personal and third party risk for the period of their stay.
Insurance:
- Your inability (or inability of any, some or all of your intended party) or disinclination to travel and stay at the Campsite for any reason, including (but is not limited to) illness (including Covid), a requirement or recommendation to self-isolate or quarantine, shielding, jury duty, military service, incarceration, change in personal or work circumstances, family emergencies, accident, injury, travel delays, vehicle breakdown, and delays with public transport. These remain at your risk and do not give rise to a right to cancel, amend your booking or to receive any refund.
YOU ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER THESE EVENTUALITIES. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE THEN YOU ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS THAT YOU MAY INCURE DUE TO YOUR CANCELLATION
Inclement Weather:
•We are unable to control the weather, a bad weather forecast is not and will never be a ground for refund or to move a booking.
Circumstances beyond our control:
•We are not liable for refunds or expenses you may incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking because of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots, or civil unrest, Strikes and Industrial action, weather, flooding, natural disasters, pandemic and epidemic, health risks, failure of public or private utilities or such similar events (“Force Majeure.”)
•WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE ADEQUATE HOLIDAY INSURANCE IN PLACE TO COVER THIS. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE THEN YOU ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS THAT YOU MAY INCURE DUE TO YOUR CANCELLATION.
Cancellation by us:
•If for any reason we have to cancel your booking, we will offer you a full refund of any fees paid or the option of an alternative pitch/date (with you paying any additional cost or receiving a refund in respect of a price difference.)
•No other compensation is available.
Prices
- As we are open all year, conditions and prices may change without prior notice.
- Advance bookings, accepted by us, will be charged at the prices applicable at the time of booking.
- Prices include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust VAT where required by legislation. Our VAT registration is number GB 893 2192 04.
Arrival & Departure
- Arrival time is 1pm to 8pm. (6pm during winter months) If you anticipate arriving outside of these times please contact us in advance. No arrivals accepted after 9pm
- Guests must park in the designated parking area and check in at reception before entering the park.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission.
- Commercial vehicles are not permitted on-site.
- We cannot guarantee specific locations and pitches, though we do try to arrange the preferences included with your booking.
- Pitches are be vacated by midday on the day of departure unless a late departure, up to 5 pm, has been agreed in advance and the late departure fee paid.
- Departures after 5pm will be charged at the full nightly rate.
Park Rules
Just a few park rules so that each guest has the opportunity to enjoy Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park at its best;
- Noise levels – Our guests choose Daisy Bank to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside and so we ask that music, TVs and all noise be kept at a reasonable level at all times and to an absolute minimum between 10.00pm and 8am. If you love to party, Daisy Bank is not the place for you!
- Only one car per pitch is permitted on the touring park. A car park is available for additional vehicles.
- On arrival you will be given a barrier code. This must not to given to anyone else including visitors and is for your sole use.
- DOGS – We do not accept any dogs on the UK banned list and for 2024 onwards this will include XL Bullies or part
breeds of this type. All other well behaved dogs, non-aggressive dogs are welcome on the park, but must be kept on a lead at all times, and in the confines of your pitch, unless using the exercise area provided. - Please do not leave your pet unattended at any time if they are likely to become distressed, bark or cause a disturbance.
- We welcome responsible dog owners who clear up after their dogs and bins are provided for this.
- We cannot accept dogs who are likely to cause a nuisance to other guests for example, dogs who bark excessively or are aggressive, or owners who do not clear up after their dogs.
- Please be considerate of other guests at all times. Persistent barking / whining is likely to adversely affect the enjoyment of others and if this cannot be rectified, for example by having your pet inside your accommodation, we may have to ask guests to leave the park early, Maximum of 2 well behaved dogs per touring pitch.
- BBQ’s are permitted, but must be kept well clear of the grass. Campfires are not permitted.
- Day visitors – All new arrivals and visitors must call in at reception before entering the park. Day visitors (18+ and max of 4 per unit) must park in the designated area . Day visitors may not arrive when reception is closed or stay later than 10.00pm.
- Cleaning vehicles or caravans on the pitch is not permitted.

REFUSE/ RECYCLING/LITTERING:
The Waste and Recycling bins are situated in Camlad and Kerry.
Due to new laws introduced in Wales from April 2024 – ALL waste and recycling will need to be separated into FIVE bins.
- 1.PAPER AND CARDBOARD *clean paper, magazines & newspaper/NO takeaway boxes*
- 2.METAL CANS, PLASTICS AND CARTONS *clean items*
- 3.GLASS BOTTLES AND JARS (any colour) *clean items*
- 4.FOOD WASTE *please only use biodegradable bags*
- 5.WASTE THAT CANNOT BE RECYCLED.
- •Gas canisters should not be placed in any of the bins (Please ask at Reception).
- •BULKY WASTE (Cardboard boxes, airbeds, tents, chairs, gazebos, BBQ’s, tyres , electrical items etc) MUST BE TAKEN HOME WITH YOU.
- •You may be liable for a £25 charge if we end up having to dispose of your bulky items
- The owners reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person(s) whose conduct is detrimental to Daisy Bank or to other visitors.
